Yes, another horrible joke form me.  And this time, this comic features a guest.  :o Maiji the squirrel, courtesy of Maiji -> VISIT.  AND HERE. Thank you so much Maiji! [And go read HER comic, WiT too.  I demand it if you haven't.]

I apologize for the horrendously long wait... I was either uncreative, or busy with other things... completely forgetting about getting off my butt and doing this.

The joke is a touch modified... but the idea's the same.  I made it up earlier this year when I saw a squirrel run across the walkway ahead of me, and poof! There it was.  Maiji's squirrel, Maiji, was a good cnadidate rather then a generic squirrel.  Plus, well... MAIJI SQUIRREL ROCK.  XD

Panel-by-panel commentary:

#01: ... the squirrel.  :o And those feet suck.  FYI, if you didn't figure it out, Johnathan's leather boots are on the left... Mintaka wears black shinier ones.  XD;

#02: BAH... Johnathan's face didn't quite turn out right along the jaw... kinda yes, kinda no.  I think it's the mouth.  :E The sky rocks my world though. ^^~

#03: For the love of all that is... Mintaka's pose was driving me nuts.  Maiji's in the foreground... and ehr tail conveniently hid Mintaka's hand.  :o  Which is a fist, knuckles down resting on the ground, if you're wondering.  They're down the road a bit by now too... so it's changed slightly.  XD  Thus the lighting and backgound wonkiness compared to the past scenes. Fun grass.  *nibbles* On a side note... the nut comment may or may not apply to Maiji - she IS a unique fat squirrel... though I didn't make her that fat.  XD;; *is going to be killed*

#04: Mmm... sky.  XD  Tree branch! And weird super-deformity.  O_o Poor Johnathan.  I love his expression though, thus why I made it the new header. It sums up this whole thing well.  XD Maiji is in Min's hand, laughing at Johnathan too. And I almost drew Min's left eye AGAIN.  ARGH.  I also have that tendency drawing Beatrix from FFIX... [except it's the opposite eye.] *plays with Min's lovely hair...*  I love how that turned out. Mostly. Though Johnathan's outfit got a bit... weird.  Glove-wise anyway.  :E

Overall: I'm very happy with it... trying more new things, using techs I gleaned from other works and comments on other pieces... trying to get better.  I think the coloring is improving.  ^^  Painter.  <3

Well... a new layout, so navication hits every page, etc. and php-ness for my sanity sake on layout changes.  Plus later use in other things, maybe.
